“The SOPs for all EMCOs are the same as previously announced,” he said in a statement today.

He said the EMCO in two localities in Sabah – Kg Istimewa in Batu Sapi, Sandakan, and One Borneo Condominium in Kota Kinabalu – which was supposed to end tomorrow will be extended until August 5.

The order in seven localities will be lifted as scheduled tomorrow, namely Seremban district in Negri Sembilan; Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park workers’ quarters in Gebeng, Pahang; two housing estates in Kota Baru, Kelantan, namely Taman Kurnia Jaya and Taman Pinggiran Golf; Kg Sg Imam in Tawau, Sabah; two villages in Putatan, Sabah, namely Kg Lembising and Kg Dumpil Keramat; and, Kg Balibata in Beaufort and Kg Pintasan in Kota Belud, Sabah.

Ismail Sabri said 25 premises, involving factories, shops and construction sites, were ordered shut yesterday for failing to comply with the SOPs.
