KUALA LUMPUR – Five localities in Sabah, six in Kelantan, two in Pahang and one in Sarawak will be placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Saturday until August 27, said Senior Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.
He said the affected areas in Sabah include two localities in Keningau’s Jalan Sook, namely Bumi Timber Sdn Bhd factory as well as its workers’ quarters in Batu 27, and Perusahaan Kosinar Sdn Bhd and its workers’ quarters in Batu 28.
“The other three localities are Taman Puri Warisan, Kota Kinabalu; Kg Pengiran, Sipitang and Kg Wokok Kinuta, Kota Belud,” he said in a statement on the National Recovery Plan today.
Hishamuddin said the EMCO in Kelantan will involve Kg Chenerai; Kg Lubok Kawah; Kg Pohon Tanjong, Kg Pak Jak and part of Kg Landar in Pasir Mas; as well as Kg Kubang Sawa in Tumpat.
He said other localities involved are Kg Bongkok, Bera and Kg Gadak, Rompin in Pahang and Sri Datai Mining Sdn Bhd workers’ quarters in Mukah, Sarawak. – Bernama, August 12, 2021
