KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia’s oldest Malay-based party Umno will hold this year’s annual general assembly from January 13 to January 15 next year.
In a statement today, its secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan reiterated that the party’s polls have been postponed up till December 29, next year.
Meanwhile, the party’s branch levels are expected to hold their annual meeting from October 15 to November 30 this year.
Delegates of the three wings (Youth, Wanita and Puteri) will meet simultaneously nationwide on December 11 and 12.
The main party’s delegation will meet simultaneously at the national level on December 18.
The meetings can be held virtually, physically or a hybrid between the two, he added. – The Vibes, September 30, 2021
