KOTA KINABALU – Weddings, festive celebrations and birthday parties are now allowed in Sabah as the state enters Phase 4 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) beginning Monday.
In the updated standard operating procedure list issued to Sabah today, social activities have been eased to allow social gatherings with 50% capacity in premises.
Individuals below the age of 18 are allowed to participate in these social activities, on condition they are with their fully vaccinated parents.
Generally, all business sectors have been allowed to operate except for night clubs, pubs and karaoke outlets.
International tourists are still not allowed to visit the state.
Sabah entered Phase 3 of the NRP on October 18.
The state recorded 545 new Covid-19 cases today and eight Covid-19 deaths.
As of today, 75% of Sabah’s adult population have been fully vaccinated. – The Vibes, November 9, 2021
