SHAH ALAM – Senior Education Minister Datuk Radzi Jidin wants SMK Taman Sri Muda and eight other schools in the surrounding areas affected by the floods to be repaired immediately.
In a posting on his official Facebook page, he said he was at SMK Taman Sri Muda yesterday and found that the classrooms, workshops, science labs and computer labs were badly damaged.
“A total of 34 school teachers were also affected by the floods,” he said.
Radzi, who was accompanied by Education Ministry deputy secretary-general Noor Azman Abdul Rahman during the visit, said MoE is committed to ensuring that all schools hit by the recent major floods receive immediate attention for a safer and more comfortable learning environment. – Bernama, December 25, 2021
