KUALA LUMPUR – A total of 32 locations have been affected by floods and 37 recorded landslides, among others, as at 10am today, according to the Public Works Department (PWD).

The department added that there are 13 locations with collapsed roads, one sunken road and two broken/collapsed bridges – all recorded in two districts in Kelantan, eight in Pahang, five in Selangor, two in Kedah, two in Negri Sembilan and one in Terengganu.

Also, 24 federal and 61 state roads have been affected.

Meanwhile, Jalan Genting Peras, Jalan Sg Lui and Sg Lalang in Hulu Langat, Jalan Robinson in Kuala Selangor, Jalan Bentong Lama in Gombak, and the Banting-Semenyih route have been closed to all vehicles.

Among the areas affected by flash floods are Pasir Mas (Kelantan), Pahang’s Pekan, Maran, Bera and Kuantan, as well as Kuala Selangor.

At least 19 landslides have been recorded in Hulu Langat and six in Hulu Selangor.
