KUALA LUMPUR – Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari has urged those who have not received their Bantuan Selangor Bangkit (BSB) flood relief funds to adhere to the scheduled times sent to them via SMS.

In a statement today, he said applicants came to the Klang district and land office earlier than their appointment times, leading to long queues.

His remarks follow a viral video of queues outside the said office yesterday evening.

“I ask those who have not received their BSB to come to the office according to their appointment times sent to them via SMS.

“With the cooperation and understanding of all, the distribution of BSB will be much smoother and can be completed within the set time frame,” he said.

BSB is an initiative created by the Selangor government after the state was hit by devastating floods in December last year.

Previously, Amirudin had assured applicants that the distribution of the relief funds will be completed by the end of the month. – The Vibes, February 23, 2022
