KUALA LUMPUR – Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has lost his younger brother Rusli Ibrahim, who breathed his last at Selayang Hospital today.

The PKR president had posted on Twitter regarding his brother’s passing, but did not disclose any reason behind Rusli’s death.

“My younger brother, Rusli Ibrahim, just answered Allah’s call at Selayang Hospital earlier. 

“I ask my friends to pray for his soul so he will be placed amongst the Almighty’s most beloved.

“Al-Fatihah,” said Anwar.
