KOTA KINABALU – Sabah recorded a total of 65 new Covid-19 cases today, the lowest daily caseload in nearly a year, according to state government Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.
He said today’s caseload is not far from the last lowest level of 59 cases recorded on May 18 last year.
Masidi said Kota Kinabalu was the only district that recorded a double digit rise with 16 new cases, while 10 other districts had no new infections detected today.
He thanks Sabahans for maintaining high discipline and abiding by the government’s standard operating procedures in their daily lives.
“This attitude will surely help the government manage the spreading of Covid-19 more effectively. I would also like to thank all our frontliners who have been working day and night in ensuring the safety and health of all the residents in the state,” he said. – The Vibes, April 11, 2022
