KUALA LUMPUR – As many as 1,058,626 or 29.8% of Malaysian children from 5 to 11 years old have completed their vaccination under the Covid-19 National Immunisation Programme for Children as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, up to 1,644,027 children or 46.3% of the age group have received at least one dose of the inoculation.

For teenagers aged 12 to 17, 2,904,772, or 93.4% have completed their jabs while 3,002,404 or 96.5% from the age group have received at least one dose.

At the same time, 16,064,239 or 68.3% of adults have received their booster shots while 22,971,113 or 97.6% have completed both doses and 23,246,597 (98.8%) have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Yesterday also saw 23,148 Covid-19 doses being delivered involving 9,511 first doses, 12,441 second doses, and 1,196 boosters.

The cumulative total of vaccinations through PICK stood at 70,678,279.
