KUALA LUMPUR – The government has lifted seating restrictions at restaurants in areas under the conditional movement control order.
In his briefing today, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said patrons must continue to observe social distancing.
“If a big round table can usually seat 10 people, now, about six people will be allowed, to ensure social distancing.
“While there are no seating restrictions, the number of people allowed at a table depends on the table size.”
He added that 254 individuals were detained and compounded yesterday for failing to comply with standard operating procedures against Covid-19.
The authorities also detained 28 undocumented migrants, and seized one boat and three vehicles under Op Benteng. – The Vibes, December 9, 2020
