Sam Rainsy leaves Malaysia silently: Wisma Putra — The Foreign Ministry has confirmed the departure of former Cambodian opposition leader Sam Rainsy from Malaysia, adding that his presence in the country was not announced and that there were no public programmes held during his time here. – Alchetron pic, June 1, 2023

KUALA LUMPUR – Former Cambodian opposition leader Sam Rainsy left Malaysia yesterday morning, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was not informed of Rainsy’s presence in the country.

“No public programme was held during his stay here,” read the statement. – Bernama, June 1, 2023
