PUTRAJAYA – Access to the e-Borang for Years of Assessment (YA) 2012 to 2015 for individuals, employers, partnerships, organisations and companies which exceed seven years will no longer be available from July 1 onwards, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRB) said in a statement here today.

IRB said the e-Filing feature for these years will no longer be accessible due to the continuing decline in submissions of e-Borang through e-Filing.

It said this e-Filing feature is also not provided under the best practices guideline of tax administration agencies in other countries, which usually make it available for only five years.

IRB said after July 1, submissions of returns for YA 2012 to YA 2015 can be done using the physical form, which can be downloaded at the IRB official portal https://www.hasil.gov.my/. – Bernama, June 28, 2023
