DATUK Noor Azman Rahman has returned to duty as Secretary-General of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) after the governing body's Disciplinary Committee decided that his suspension had ended.

The decision was made at a meeting of the FAM Disciplinary Committee held today, allowing Noor Azman to return to his duties with immediate effect.

FAM, in a statement, said that the decision also confirmed that Noor Azman was only found to be involved in administrative negligence and was not guilty and was not involved in any element of document forgery.

Previously, the FAM Executive Committee on 22 December 2025 had reviewed the report of the Independent Investigation Committee (IIC) and decided to continue Noor Azman's suspension, which began on 17 October last year, while the case was referred to the FAM Disciplinary Committee for further action.

The FAM Disciplinary Committee, chaired by Datuk Dr Baljit Singh Sidhu, then met, taking into account the period of suspension served by Noor Azman as well as the IIC report dated 15 December.

The results of the review led to the decision to reinstate Noor Azman to the position of FAM Secretary General with immediate effect. – January 8, 2026
