MALAYSIA clinched its quarter-finals berth after defeating Finland 4-1 in the second round Group B match at Forum Horsens today.

Jun Hao Leong dropped the first singles to Joakim Oldorff 17-21, 15-21, before Justin Ho evened the score by defeating Kalle Koljonen 21-14, 21-12.

In the third singles, Lee Zii Jia defeated Ananda Galvani Daniswara 21-19, 21-10.

The country’s first doubles of Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin beat Eliel Melleri and Niilo Nyqvist 21-12, 21-15 to seal victory.

In the second doubles and final match, Malaysia had a rather easy path with Soh Wooi Yik and Tee Kai Wun defeating Ananda Galvani and Alvar Melleri 21-7, 21-14. – April 27, 2026
