KUALA LUMPUR – Two matches involving Kuching City FC have been postponed after 18 players and officials of the Premier League team tested positive for Covid-19.

The Malaysian Football League (MFL), in a statement today, said the affected ties are Kuching City’s opening match against Terengganu FC II at the State Stadium in Kuching tomorrow and the one against Selangor FC 2 at Stadium UiTM in Shah Alam on March 27.

MFL expressed its sympathy to the Kuching City players and officials who are Covid-19 positive and wished them a speedy recovery.

Several matches in the Super League, Premier League and FA Cup had been postponed since early this month due to the spread of COVID-19 infections among team players and officials. – Bernama, March 18, 2022
