MATRIX Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad (Matrix Concepts) today announced the appointment of Kelvin Lee Chin Chuan as Group Managing Director of the Group, effective 1 June 2026.

Lee holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Melbourne and began his career as a structural engineer with AECOM Malaysia. He first joined Matrix Concepts in May 2018 until March 2021, where he gained early exposure to the Group’s development operations and execution processes through his role supporting the leadership team.

He later stepped away for 4 years from the organisation to broaden his industry experience before returning in April 2025 as Group Executive Director.

Since his return, he has played an active role in strengthening the Group’s strategic direction and organisational structure, with a focus on advancing a more integrated and ecosystem-driven approach to township development.

Over the past year, this direction has progressively taken shape through several key initiatives across the Group.

Among these initiatives is the collaboration with Golog Holdings Sdn Bhd for the development of the China-Malaysia Air Silk Road Dual Hub Industrial Park Cooperation Project in MVV TechValley, further reinforcing Negeri Sembilan’s position as an emerging logistics and industrial hub.

The Group also expanded its healthcare footprint through a partnership with Alpro Group and Mercy Senior Care Centre to establish a skilled nursing care facility in Suria Heights, Bandar Sri Sendayan.

The facility is designed to strengthen long-term care and elderly care services in Malaysia, providing specialised nursing support for patients requiring clinical care, rehabilitation, post-hospital recovery, and continuous elderly care within a structured and compassionate environment.

Alongside these external initiatives, Lee has also focused on strengthening internal alignment within the organisation by refining structures, clarifying responsibilities, and enhancing execution discipline to support a more scalable and sustainable operating model.

Reflecting on the Group’s direction, Lee said Matrix Concepts continues to remain anchored by its founding philosophy of creating environments that enrich lives, even as expectations surrounding quality, integration, and liveability continue to evolve. – May 28, 2026
