KUALA LUMPUR – FGV Holdings Bhd has appointed former Felcra chief executive Mohd Nazrul Izam Mansor as its new group CEO effective August 23.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the plantation company said FGV’s group divisional director of logistics and support, Azman Ahmad, who is currently the officer in charge covering the duties and responsibilities of the group CEO, will no longer hold the post as of August 22.

“Nazrul has over 22 years of experience in various capacities in different industries,” said FGV.

“He began his career at two public accounting firms, and he was involved in various auditing and assurance assignments for medium and large public and private companies.”

Nazrul played key roles in risk management and corporate planning, and was executive assistant to the CEO until 2007 after joining Padiberas Nasional Bhd in 2002.

He was made CEO at Felcra on October 22, 2018. – Bernama, July 9, 2021
