KUALA LUMPUR – Port Klang will be joining Singapore as a home port for Resorts World Cruises’ Genting Dream cruise liner from July 18 onwards.
With its Singapore home port already in operation from June 15, travellers will have the option to embark from the island republic or Kuala Lumpur.
The dual home port idea was designed to cater for the demand of round-trip cruises, targeting the 10 million population residing here, Selangor, Negri Sembilan and Melaka.
The cruise company will also offer one-way cruises as an alternative to air and land travel for travellers between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, including to Penang.
With each trip, all crew and guests are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to safeguard and provide peace of mind for all onboard.
In addition, guests will also have to undergo a self-paid pre-cruise Antigen rapid test one day before departure.
