A SHOCKING video was uploaded on the Protect Stray Animal/Animal Alliance Facebook showing a dog being tortured and eventually killed by a group of youths in Port Klang.

The video was accompanied by a police report, which stated that the incident occurred in Taman Teluk Gedung Indah at 10.50 pm on July 29.

According to a report by a 42-year-old woman, she noticed a group of youths in front of her house holding a chain, believed to be used to capture dogs.

She said there were no officers from the council, and she became worried and began looking for her dog around the area, which was not wearing a collar at the time.

When she returned to her house after searching for her dog, Rocky, she noticed the animal was caught by the youths and had a rope tightly around its neck and was choking.

"I began begging the youths to release the animal, as it was our dog, but they refused.

"Neighbours also informed me that my dog was beaten on the head using a metal rod," she said in her report.

She said her dog died following the cruel torture, and she is now pleading for action to be taken against those involved.

The cruel incident has since gone viral on social media under the hashtag #JusticeForRocky, with many calling on the relevant authorities to take stern action.

Videos and photographs were also attached to the postings.

"Rocky was our family. We raised him from when he was small. He trusted us, and we failed to save him despite begging for his life.

"Rocky did not deserve to die like this," added the woman. – July 31, 2026
