Country Heights appoints Mircle Yap as new MD

KUALA LUMPUR – Property conglomerate Country Heights Holdings Bhd (CHHB) has appointed Datuk Mircle Yap Ching Chai as its new managing director.

Former Armed Forces Fund Board chairman Tan Sri Mohd Anwar Mohd Nor said that with Yap at the helm, the company is well positioned to continue its success and deliver value to its stakeholders as it has ambitious plans for growth and expansion, including the development of several high-profile projects in Malaysia and overseas.

“I am confident that Yap’s strategic vision and deep knowledge of the industry will be instrumental in propelling CHHB to new heights,” Anwar, who is also the current chairman of CHHB, said in a statement today.

Yap said he is looking forward to leading CHHB and working with its talented team to achieve strategic goals and objectives.

He previously served as an independent director on the company’s board and has now risen to lead the company’s strategic growth and development.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial and corporate sectors, having played diverse and crucial roles in equity fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offering advisory transactions across Asia, Europe, and the United States.

Prior to joining CHHB, he held senior positions at several international investment and listed companies. – Bernama, April 11, 2023
