KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia Aviation Group Bhd’s (MAG) airlines, namely Malaysia Airlines and Firefly, will offer additional flights during this year’s Aidiladha travel period from June 23 to July 6.
MAG will add 37 extra flights for Malaysia Airlines and upgrade 12 of its services to the Airbus A330 for the Kota Kinabalu and Kuching routes, it said in a statement today.
“Meanwhile, Firefly will operate an additional six flights between Kota Baru and Subang, and Penang to Langkawi during this peak travel period,” it said.
“We encourage travellers to take advantage of these great deals and book their travels ahead of time,” said MAG chief executive for airlines Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi.
According to the statement, customers can travel conveniently during the festive season via enticing discounts offered by the airlines for all domestic and selected international destinations from today until June 19, for immediate travel up to November 30, 2023.
At the same time, it said that Firefly is offering 18% off on fares for its members and 16% off on fares for non-members, available from today until June 18 for immediate travel until December 31, 2023, in conjunction with its 16th anniversary.
“Furthermore, customers can avail themselves of an additional 16% off on seat selection, checked baggage, sports equipment, and travel insurance during this period,” it added. – Bernama, June 6, 2023
