Since mooncakes have become too commercial today, it’s nice to be given a handmade option that is not afraid to be a little different. For those who value sincerity, hard work, and effort in the baking process.
5. Chiffon and more
OK, this is not exactly a mooncake but if we are already breaking the rules of traditional options, why stop only at the shape? Besides, not everyone loves mooncakes so this would be the perfect gift for someone to still enjoy (it’s still cake!) the Mid-Autumn festivities.
