KUALA LUMPUR – Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah graced the 2023 Chinese Unity Mid-Autumn Festival Dinner, here last night.

Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah also graced the event.

Their Majesties opened the ceremony with the cutting of the mooncake and the symbolic lighting of the lantern.

Also present at the event organised by the Federation of Malaysia Lim Associations were Deputy Finance Minister II Steven Sim, Tan Sri Lim Kit Siang and Bagan MP Lim Guan Eng.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a culturally important event for the Chinese community in Malaysia.

The 2023 Chinese Unity Mid-Autumn Festival Dinner was attended by about 300 guests, symbolising the unity, diversity and cultural beauty of Malaysia. – Bernama, September 27, 2023
