FORMER television personality Datuk Ras Adiba Radzi has criticised a content creator for entering the home of her missing friend, Zalina Azman, without permission to produce social media content about the case.

Ras Adiba said such actions were unacceptable and urged the public to respect the privacy of the missing woman’s family, particularly her children, who were still awaiting answers about her whereabouts.

“We may want to share something to attract attention, but we also need to consider her children’s feelings,” she told Harian Metro.

She urged anyone with information about Zalina’s disappearance to pass it to the police rather than take matters into their own hands or fuel speculation.

Ras Adiba said unverified allegations and assumptions could cause confusion and add to the distress of a family still hoping for news of their loved one.

She also appealed to anyone with information to contact her privately or approach the police to assist efforts to locate Zalina.

“My main hope is that Zalina will be found and reunited with her family,” she said, while asking the public to continue praying for her friend’s safety.

Ras Adiba said she continued to check with police every month for updates on the case.

Shah Alam police chief Assistant Commissioner Sarudin Samah was previously reported as saying that police would call in the content creator to obtain an explanation after reviewing the incident involving the entry into Zalina’s home in Shah Alam and the subsequent social media posts.

Zalina, a former TV3 presenter, has been missing since Nov 24, 2021, when her son, Mikhael Norman, was unable to reach her while trying to inform her that his father had been admitted to hospital.

Police continue to classify her as a missing person, with no verified evidence that she has died or left the country.

In July 2022, Ras Adiba, accompanied by her husband and close friends, conducted a search around Shah Alam, including the area near Zalina’s home in Section 3, Kayangan Roundabout and Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque.

She has also contacted police, hospital mortuaries and hospitals in her efforts to find her friend. - October 27, 2026
