ACTRESS Rebel Wilson, 42, has revealed she is dating a woman, through an Instagram post on Thursday.
The Pitch Perfect star shared a photo of herself posing with her girlfriend, designer Romana Agruma, reported The Daily Mail.
Wilson shared her happiness over her new relationship in the caption. She joked that after years of "searching for a Disney Prince" she learned that what she "really needed was a Disney Princess".
"I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince... but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess,'" she wrote, adding heart and rainbow emojis and the hashtag, #loveislove.
After her announcement, a friend of the actress told People, "Rebel's in an amazing place and I've never seen her happier."
Before Wilson and Agruma's official debut as a couple, the pair have been spotted together in the past few months. They were seen on a joint red carpet appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in March.
They were also spotted together in February on Super Bowl Sunday.
Other than her coming out post, Wilson hasn't shared any other details about her girlfriend. Agruma is an LA-based fashion designer and the owner of the sustainable fashion brand Lemon Ve Limon.
The actress did reveal last month that she was dating someone, although she kept their identity under wraps. She told People that she had been set up with her partner "through a friend".
"We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting," Wilson said at the time. "And that was a really good way to get to know each other. It was a bit old-school in that sense – very romantic."
She also shared how "the process of finding more self-worth" had "elevated" her standards in terms of what she was looking for in a partner. She said her romance with her new girlfriend was "equal" and "healthy".
