MOST netizens call it a meeting of champions, while some cannot decide who has the greater honour.

Eight-time world squash champion Nicol David recently posted an Instagram photograph of her meeting football icon David Beckham and it has since drawn numerous comments on social media.

One netizen said Beckham should be the one honoured to meet the women's squash G.O.A.T. (greatest of all time), while most were just excited over two world champions converging together for a photograph.

Nicol in her post said "It was a legendary night meeting @davidbeckham. Out of words and so happy! Thank you for this opportunity. I will never forget it."

Nicol also shared the duo’s interaction to her Instagram Story, where the sports legends chatted briefly before taking their picture together.

Among those who commented on the photograph include Colombian squash player, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, who said "Now you know 2 legends."

The 48-year-old trendsetting Beckham was in Kuala Lumpur recently to officiate the "World of the Predator Exhibition" for sportswear giant Adidas at the Exchange TRX
