EVERY year before the Islamic month of Zulhijjah, able-bodied Muslims around the world will perform the fifth pillar of Islam which is the Hajj.

In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha, here is a list of popular actors and singers who are declared Hajah.

Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza

The country's number one singer performed Hajj for the first time in 2007 with her beloved husband.

Erra Fazira

The country’s film prima donna has been dubbed Hajah after performing the Hajj in 2019. Erra said she has wished for it for five years and it finally came true when she was invited to perform the Hajj in 2019.

Noor Neelofa

The former Dewi Remaja 2011 was invited to perform Hajj for the first time in 2016. Then she once again performed Hajj in 2019.

Wany Hasrita

The Most Popular Star of 2018 did not expect to be invited by the Embassy of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj in 2019 at the age of 27.

Amira Othman

The singer, who was from Akademi Fantasia 2013, performed Hajj with her good friend, Wany Hasrita. Wany invited Amira to go with her as her mother couldn't come along.

Sheila Rusly

The popular actress and producer performed Hajj in 2007 with her husband Jinggo. Upon returning home, Shiela continued to wear the hijab to this day.

Mizz Nina

Her departure to perform Hajj with her husband who is also a singer, Noh Salleh, in 2013 really opened a new chapter in Mizz Nina's life. Upon returning from Hajj, Nina decided to stop singing and continue wearing the hijab.

Najwa Mahiaddin

The singer, who is also the daughter of a former prime minister, performed the Hajj in 2014. After returning home, Najwa decided to wear the hijab completely, but still continued her career as a singer.

Datin Fouziah Gous

This beautiful actress was invited to fulfill the divine call to perform Hajj with her husband in 2018. One of her biggest sacrifices at that time was having to leave her son who had just gone through an operation.

Datin Seri Umie Aida

The popular actress performed Hajj with her husband in 2019. Umie said her prayer while performing Umrah at the beginning of the year to be allowed to perform Hajj was finally granted by Allah when she was invited to perform the Hajj in August 2019.

This year, two celebrities have been invited to be the guests of God to perform the pilgrimage, namely Nelydia Senrose and Datin Heliza Helmi. May they have a blessed pilgrimage. – The Vibes, July 10, 2022
