AWARD-winning composer and musician Anirudh Ravichander is set to take the stage at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur on September 17 as part of his “Once Upon a Time Tour”.

The concert promises to be a completely different experience for audiences, as it is set to be a ‘glow in the dark’ concert, taking a cue from British rock band Coldplay’s previous concerts.

One of the sponsors of the event, Aha, a local Tamil OTT platform, announced a contest where 20 lucky fans will have the opportunity to win tickets to see the musician live along with a meet-and-greet session.

To submit an entry for the competition, all you must do is subscribe to the Aha Tamil annual pack, which is open until September 9. Send a screenshot of successful subscription completion to +6017 6604989.

More details of the contest are available on the Aha social media channel.

The contest is being organised to commemorate the launch of the Aha Tamil, an OTT platform available in Malaysia and Singapore, which is a joint venture between Allu Aravind (Geetha Arts) and My Home Group.

Since its inception, Aha has connected with its audience by sharing stories of their land and engaging them with their favourite stars.

The 100% Tamil regional OTT platform has released several blockbuster movies and originals including Vikram, Koogle Kuttapa, Manmadhaleelai AkashVaani, Ammuchi 2, Kuthukku Pathu, Sarkaar and others.

Anirudh launched the announcement of the concert in July, with organisers MC Entertainment and the Tourism Ministry. The ‘glow in the dark’ themed concert would be a first for the artist.

He remarked during the press conference, “I have always been a big fan of Coldplay’s concerts. It has great lighting and audio-visual experience.

"It is not very viable for Indian concerts but I want to give the Tamil music scene a try and thanks to Malaysia’s Tourism Ministry and MC Entertainment for making it happen now.”

According to the organisers, all attendees will be given programmable LED wristbands that are designed to create a dazzling light show during the concert. – The Vibes, September 7, 2022
