AFTER years of leading a secret double life as both a family man and a highly accomplished agent for South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS), things go south quickly for Kwon Dohoon in Family: The Unbreakable Bond, a new Korean spy comedy series coming to Disney+ Hotstar April 17.

For years NIS agent Kwon Dohoon has managed to keep his occupation secret from everyone, including his beloved wife. Having convinced his friends and family that he is nothing more than an employee at a local trading company, Dohoon works tirelessly to keep up the charade and give his wife the perfect family she has always dreamed of, but little does Dohoon know his wife has an explosive secret of her own.

Starring Jang Hyuk (Money Flower, Deep Rooted Tree) as NIS agent Kwon Dohoon; Chang Nara (The Last Empress, VIP) as Kang Yura, a housewife with a secret; and Chae Jungan (Coffee Prince, Yong-pal) as Oh Chunryun, an NIS operative and Dohoon’s boss, Family: The Unbreakable Bond is directed by Jang Jeongdo (Alchemy of Souls, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim) and Lee Junkmuk (Our Blues) and is written by Jung Yousun (Evergreen). – The Vibes, March 20, 2023
