[PHOTOS] Spiderman offers ‘Avengers tea’ to MRR2 users
Friendly neighbourhood beverage sellers entertain road users while they wait in the notorious MRR2 traffic

KUALA LUMPUR – Like any big city anywhere in the world, traffic jams are a ubiquitous part of life in Kuala Lumpur.
But if you ply the Ampang-Batu Caves route, you might just come across something to break the monotony of your commute, and maybe even “avenge” your thirst.
Riding on the popularity of the iconic Lemang Pak Ali near the national zoo, two enterprising youths have decided to put on a show for clients lining up in their cars to buy the popular rice dish.
This is where Mohamed Zakri Mohd Sofi and Mohd Shafiqal Azrin Mohd Azmi saw an opportunity – dressed up as the popular Spiderman superhero, the pair dance and wave at prospective clients to sell their “Avengers Tea”.
The duo say they typically spend about four hours a day selling tea, and plan to expand their repertoire to include another superhero, Ironman. Business is going so well that they plan to open more branches in future.
