WHO would have thought, a handful of rubber glove factory workers – who produces must-have equipment for health frontliners – are infected with the coronavirus.

Senior minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said as of Monday, Top Glove Corp Bhd’s worker dormitories recorded 215 positive Covid-19 cases.

Hence, the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) was implemented on the dorms in Jalan Abadi, Klang and the surrounding roads.

The EMCO affects 13,190 workers and 1,200 residents. Authorities said this is to enable Covid-19 screening to be conducted.
