KHIND is celebrating its 65th anniversary with a major milestone—the official opening of its first-ever physical KHIND Rent-to-Own (RTO) Experience Store at Setia EcoHill, Semenyih.

The launch marks a significant step in the company’s ongoing transformation from its humble beginnings as a small electrical repair shop in Sekinchan, Selangor, in 1961, into a trusted Malaysian home solutions brand that now serves households in more than 58 countries worldwide.

The opening ceremony was officiated by KHIND Group Executive Chairman Cheng Ping Keat, who formally launched the new Experience Store and highlighted the brand’s continued growth and innovation journey.

Since its launch, the initiative has already served close to 30,000 Malaysian households. With the opening of the Semenyih Experience Store, KHIND RTO now establishes its first permanent physical touchpoint, designed to offer customers a more immersive and engaging experience.

Speaking at the launch, Cheng Ping Keat shared that KHIND has always been guided by a simple principle—to make life easier for every household.

“The KHIND RTO Experience Store brings this promise into a physical space where families can truly experience how simple home appliance ownership can be,” he said.

He added that Semenyih was selected due to its growing residential communities, including young families and first-time homeowners in rapidly developing townships.

According to him, KHIND’s role is to support these communities by reducing the burden of high upfront costs and making essential appliances more accessible through flexible monthly payment plans.

Built around its signature tagline “Senang jer, Semua Settle”, the Experience Store is designed to replicate a real home environment.

Customers are able to explore appliances in practical, everyday living setups, allowing them to better understand how each product fits into their lifestyle.

In addition to hands-on product exploration, customers will also receive personalised consultations from KHIND RTO advisors.

This includes free delivery and installation nationwide (excluding selected islands), insurance coverage throughout the subscription period, and the KHIND Care Plan, which covers servicing, maintenance, and repairs at no additional cost.

The insurance protection covers a range of unforeseen events, including fire, lightning, flood, theft, and accidental damage, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Monthly plans start from as low as RM70, making home appliances more accessible, particularly for young families and first-time homeowners.

To mark the occasion, the launch event also featured community-focused celebrations, including special opening deals, a lucky draw, and Spin & Win activities, with prizes worth up to RM10,000.

The KHIND RTO Experience Store is located at Lot 49, Jalan EcoHill 1/5B, Setia EcoHill, 43500 Semenyih, Selangor, and operates daily from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm. - July 1, 2026
