OUR facial muscles hold a lot of our accumulated stress and tension, but how often are we aware of it or do we even realise it at all?

Think about it, when we furrow our brows, deep folds are created in the forehead. When we're concentrating or deep in our thoughts, we're actually using a lot of facial muscles especially around the region of our forehead. This then becomes tension that's accumulated in the forehead from frowning or thinking too much or too hard.

When we relax the face at bedtime, it sends a very strong message from the brain to the body that we're relaxing this part of our face where there's been a lot of tension in our facial muscles. This, in turn, relaxes the rest of the body, signalling it's time for rest, rejuvenation and healing.

Jojo's Tip:

Get really comfortable  and use the power of visualization to really mentally relax & let go all of that stress and tension in your face

In this video, Jojo will take us through a relaxing guided facial muscle exercise to release tension in our facial muscles and a beautiful sound bath to lull us to deep sleep. – The Vibes, February 13, 2021
