PAVILION Malls invites shoppers to celebrate the Deepavali this year with colourful decorations, vibrant kolams, delicious cuisine, irresistible shopping deals and exclusive offers.

Pavilion KL shoppers will be treated to a ‘Journey of Colours’ with a dazzling 500-metre long Kolam Runway, while Da Men USJ celebrates with a colourful ‘Light of Happiness’ peacock kolam created by children, and Intermark Mall excites with a unique bejewelled kolam with their ‘Glorious Diwali’ decorations.

Journey of Colours

The centerpiece of the Deepavali decorations at Pavilion KL is the 500m Kolam Runway that wraps around the exterior of the mall, stretching from the Couture Pavilion entrance, past the Crystal Fountain, all the way to the Connection.

Made in collaboration with students from Raffles College and INTI University, it is the longest Kolam in Malaysia, featuring over 100 designs. They signify the beauty of Malaysia’s diversity, sacred symbols of the festival, as well as representations of the triumph of light over darkness.

For this festive occasion, the Crystal Fountain has been adorned with a giant lotus flower kolam that becomes illuminated during the night time. At the Bukit Bintang entrance to the mall, shoppers are greeted by a traditional rice kolam depicting a vibrant rangoli design.

Lights of Happiness

Da Men USJ decorations aim to showcase the triumph of good over darkness, with ‘Lights of Happiness’, featuring a colourful peacock kolam made from a combination of arts and crafts supplies and repurposed materials such as paper, bottle caps and used props. This kolam is made by children aged five to 12 years old from Global Art, who spent 200 hours creating the stunning 15ft by 15ft kolam design.
