KUALA LUMPUR – Dignity for Children Foundation (Dignity) is spreading some “roar-some” vibes this Lunar New Year with its array of ang pows and cookies offerings.

The NGO’s transformational enterprises, bake X dignity and sew X dignity, have put together Lunar New Year-related goodies that will give Malaysians the opportunity to uplift each other during this season of celebrations.

For the practice of Lunar New Year gift exchange or just pure personal indulgence, bake X dignity is offering Orange Pistachio cookies and Florentines. The cookies are available per jar or as part of a selection of pocket-friendly gift sets that will benefit recipients, givers and those who make them.

If e-wallet giving had been your thing the past two years, make your Tiger year in-person giving (according to SOPs, of course) memorable with a “waste-not” friendly fabric Dignitypao.

Aside from Dignitypao, sew X Dignity is also offering envelopes of blessings that are particularly suitable as customised corporate gifts. This envelope of blessings comes in three colours – Fuschia Geometric, Red Geometric and Red Cherry Blossom – and are available at RM38 each.

Said Natalie Tan, head of enterprises: “Our Lunar New Year offerings are aimed at helping those working in our various enterprises a sense of empowerment and dignity. We want to give them a hand-up, not handouts, even as they seek to earn a living. The long-term goal is for them to enjoy a sustainable livelihood with the support of fellow Malaysians.”

Can’t make up your mind? Want it all? Get the gift set (main photo) that combines the cookies with the Dignitypao! It comes with delicious cookies (two types) and uniquely designed cloth ang pows (three pieces). This set is for RM105.
