A TESLA Model 3 crashed through a brick wall along Jalan BS 3/12 in Serdang, Selangor on Saturday night.

The driver, who had just left the Pik Wah Restaurant nearby, claimed that he could not see the wall as it was too dark.

A netizen, YC Shaun, claimed in a video that the wall has been there for about 10 years.

“Back then, another side was not developed, and the residents built the wall for their protection.

“If you stay nearby, you will know it makes perfect sense to have that wall. The bottom line is, it was updated in every version of the map,” he wrote.

Following the incident, netizens who did their research have come up with numerous theories.

One netizen said his check on Google Maps indicated that the driver went through the wall to get to the other side.

Others said the driver most likely switched on Tesla’s autopilot mode, while others asked why the cameras on the car did not detect the obstruction.

One netizen said the Tesla Model 3 was a local variant distributed by Tesla Malaysia and the owner would be able to get his car repaired at Tesla’s Body & Paint centre. – The Vibes, February 5, 2024
