PAKATAN Harapan candidate for the Kuala Kubu Baharu state by-election Pang Sock Tao (DAP) posted copies of her SPM and UPSR results on Facebook following a question from a PAS leader regarding her educational background and academic qualifications.

The results slip showed that Pang scored four A+, three As and three A- in her SPM examination in 2010 when she was a student of SM Chung Hua Port Dickson in Negri Sembilan.

The former press secretary to Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming scored straight As in her UPSR examination in 2005.

“The Pasir Mas MP asked (where I sat for my) UPSR and SPM. This is the answer,” she said, adding that she owed it to her teachers and parents for not neglecting her education.

Fadhli, in a post on Facebook yesterday, challenged Pang to reveal her primary and secondary education status.

He raised the issue after there were disputes over the academic qualifications of Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate for the by-election Khairul Azhari Saut.

Pang is in a four-way fight for the Kuala Kubu Baharu seat against Perikatan Nasional’s Khairul, Parti Rakyat Malaysia’s Hafizah Zainuddin and independent candidate Nyau Ke Xin.

The seat fell vacant following the death of three-term DAP assemblyman Lee Kee Hiong on March 21 from cancer. – The Vibes, April 29, 2024
