AN express bus crashed into a road divider at Km273.4 of the North-South Expressway, near Gunung Lang, early today, injuring more than 30 people, New Straits Times reports.
Ipoh fire and rescue station chief Azman Hussin said three passengers, two of them women, were seriously injured and trapped in their seats.
"The rescue team extricated the three passengers, who were handed over to the medical team for treatment," he said.
He added that the other passengers, including the bus driver, suffered minor injuries and managed to exit the vehicle on their own.
A 17-member team from the Ipoh and Simpang Pulai fire and rescue stations responded to the scene at 1.10am. – September 16, 2024.
