THE Vibes bagged gold and merit awards at the Kinabalu Press Awards last night in Kota Kinabalu through Sabah journalist, Jason Santos.

Santos won the business reporting category with his entry Renewable Energy: Mida and UAE's Masdar to develop capacity worth RM37.8 billion in Malaysia.

The report highlights Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s visit to Abu Dhabi in October last year. He had an audience with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE president and Abu Dhabi's ruler.

Santos also bagged the merit award for the environmental reporting category. - September 30, 2024
