A WOMAN had a dark moment when she was molested by her housemate at a condominium on Jalan Cheras, in Kuala Lumpur, last Thursday.

Sources said that in the incident at about 2am, the victim was sleeping in her room before she realised that several parts of her body were being touched.

"The victim woke up and took out her cellphone to call her boyfriend.

"However, the man is said to have continued his actions, causing the victim to wake up and turn on the room light and the suspect fled," he said.

According to sources, the suspect sent a WhatsApp apologising for allegedly entering the room by mistake.

He said the victim, who was dissatisfied and worried that the incident would happen again, came forward to file a police report on the same day.

Meanwhile, Cheras District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Aidil Bolhassan when contacted confirmed receiving a report of the incident.

He said the case is being investigated by the Sexual, Women and Children Division (D11). - June 2, 2025
