THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in Sabah has arrested a senior manager of a government-linked company (GLC) on suspicion of soliciting and receiving bribes amounting to RM16,000 in exchange for securing repair contracts under the company.

A source revealed that the male suspect, in his 50s, was taken into custody at 4pm on Wednesday after arriving at the Sabah MACC office to provide a statement.
