May the ties and cooperation between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam continue to be strengthened for the mutual benefit of both countries and the people as a whole - July 15, 2025

PRIME MINISTER Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam on the occasion of his 79th birthday today.

In a message shared on Facebook, Anwar offered prayers for the Sultan’s continued wisdom in leading the nation.

“May the ties and cooperation between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam continue to be strengthened for the mutual benefit of both countries and the people as a whole, Insya-Allah,” he wrote.

Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah was born on 15 July 1946 in Bandar Brunei, now Bandar Seri Begawan, and became the 29th Sultan of Brunei upon his ascension to the throne in 1967. - July 15, 2025
