A SUSPICIOUS online advertisement promoting a so-called investment project allegedly involving Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the Ministry of Finance has surfaced on a major video-sharing platform, raising concerns over potential fraud.

The advertisement features a platform identified as 'AverexFlex 1.3 Ai', which promises a weekly return of RM22,000 from a minimum investment of RM1,100. It further claims that only six per cent of Malaysians are aware of the purported project, which is said to offer transformative financial benefits.

“We had the opportunity to speak directly with Anwar to learn all the details about this platform,” the advertisement claims.

“He shared the key aspects of the project and how it will help Malaysians gain confidence and overcome economic hardship.”

The advert encourages viewers to “choose the amount you want to invest (minimum RM1,100) and receive your first payment the same night.”

It also states that the Malaysian Ministry of Finance is allegedly “actively involved in overseeing and monitoring the platform to ensure high asset security and protection of investor rights.”

To date, no official confirmation or denial has been issued by any party. - July 19, 2025
