THIRTY-EIGHT individuals, including private college students and foreign nationals, were arrested at a private party held at a luxury residence in Subang Jaya shortly after midnight on Saturday.

Subang Jaya District Police Chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the raid, conducted at around 12.30am, also led to the seizure of 6.5 grams of cannabis and 1.7 grams of ketamine.

“Those arrested were aged between 18 and 27, including 13 foreigners, while four, aged between 21 and 25, are suspected of being involved in drug trafficking,” he said in a statement on Sunday.

He added that 12 of the suspects — nine locals and three foreigners — tested positive for drugs and were detained for further investigation. The remaining individuals were released. - July 20, 2025
