PRIME MINISTER Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has expressed his sympathy to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) pilot and co-pilot involved in a crash at the runway of Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Airport (Kuantan Air Base) in Pahang last night.

“I pray for the speedy recovery of both injured personnel and for their treatment and rehabilitation process to go smoothly,” he said in a post on social media platform X.

Anwar also directed that a comprehensive investigation be launched without delay to determine the cause of the incident. He further stressed the need to implement all necessary safety measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future. - August 22, 2025
