King urges Cabinet to uphold integrity and put people first
The King of Malaysia stresses that good governance, economic prosperity and national stability must remain central to the administration - December 17, 2025

HIS Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malayia, advised members of the Cabinet to carry out the trust and responsibilities entrusted to them with the highest integrity and to place the interests of the people above all else.

In a Facebook post on the Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar account on Wednesday, His Majesty said the government must prioritise the well-being of the people, national stability and economic prosperity in line with the principles of good governance.

Sultan Ibrahim also underscored the importance of teamwork among Cabinet members to ensure that the administration of the country is conducted efficiently and effectively.

“Ministers and Deputy Ministers must always go to the ground to listen to the voices of the people. You must carry out the responsibilities entrusted to you with full dedication and a high level of commitment,” His Majesty said in a statement to the Royal Press Office on Wednesday.

Earlier, His Majesty attended the ceremony for the presentation of instruments of appointment as well as the swearing-in of office, loyalty and secrecy by Federal Ministers and Deputy Ministers.

The ceremony, held at Istana Negara, was also attended by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof. - December 17, 2025
