NORTH-South Expressway (PLUS) southbound users faced a traffic jam for almost two hours due to an accident at Kilometre (Km) 274.1, near the Seremban Rest and Service Area (R&R), at around 9.30 am today.

According to Plusline1800880000, the cause of the traffic jam was an accident in the far-right lane, coupled with the high number of vehicles since this morning.

The traffic jam was detected starting at 10 am in Bandar Putra Mahkota, Bangi, up to the location of the accident, before the vehicles involved were moved to the emergency lane.

The incident did not result in any casualties, and traffic flow was fully under control at 11.41 am after a traffic jam of almost two hours.

As of 12.10 pm today, vehicle movement from Southville City in Bangi towards Seremban was reported to be slow due to the increase in vehicles on the second day of Aidilfitri.

Currently, vehicles are moving slowly from Bandar Putra Mahkota towards Nilai, from Nilai to Bandar Ainsdale and from Bandar Ainsdale to Hentian Sebelah Senawang.

PLUS expects congestion until late this afternoon due to high traffic flow, but the route from the south towards the capital is reported to be smooth. – March 22, 2026
