A NURSE died after being electrocuted, allegedly by a water heater in Machang on Monday.

The victim, Habibi Hussin, 46, who has two children, was a nurse working at Tanah Merah Hospital.

The incident is said to have occurred at the victim's house in Machang.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Kelantan State Health Department (JKNK), Datuk Dr Mohd Azman Yacob, when contacted by Sinar Harian, confirmed the matter.

"The victim died at about 3.50 pm at the Machang Hospital," he said. – April 15, 2026
