PAKATAN Harapan (PH) candidate Ng Yak Howe is leading the unofficial vote count for the Bentayan State Legislative Assembly (DUN) by obtaining 1,510 votes compared to Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Chua Lee Huat, who obtained 727 votes as of 7.02 pm.

The current position sees PH obtaining 67.50 per cent of the votes, while BN obtained 32.50 per cent of the total 2,237 votes that have been counted.

Bentayan DUN witnessed a two-cornered clash between Ng Yak Howe from PH and Chua Lee Huat from BN.

A total of 34,205 registered voters are eligible to fulfil the responsibility of choosing the people's representative for the seat in this Johor State Election (PRN). – July 11, 2026
